Leave from Portsmouth or Plymouth in the evening, settle into the restaurant and then arrive the next day. Best option if you want the car and a few extra days here. Day crossings are also available.
A couple of flights a week at the moment. Routes change often, so there may well be more by 2027. Nantes and Rennes also have airports.
Eurostar to Paris, grab some pastries and then a four-hour train from Paris to Brest. You can easily get a taxi from the station to the venue.
Semi-formal, or dressy casual. Suits and dresses rather than black tie, and bear in mind the ceremony and drinks are outside on grass.
Your invitation says exactly who it covers — if children are named on it, they’re very welcome.
Bretagne weather is very changeable and unpredictable. It’s worth performing ritual sacrifice to the weather gods (and checking closer to the time).
There is lots to see and eat in Bretagne, from the north coast to the south coast. If you can stay for longer we would recommend getting a car and exploring the quaint towns and beautiful coastline. We will share a guide of what to do in Bretagne at a later date.
We’re planning something low-key for people who arrive early. We’ll answer this properly in a later update.
